Startup problem

When I started my car this morning it didn’t' want to start the first time I turned the key. It kind of started running but it sounded like it didn't have enough gas and just shut off. I turned the key again and then it started normally like nothing happened. My car has 12K miles on in and it’s completely stock. What can it be???

fuel pump, water pump, battery, or altanator, but id blow it off till it happens again, maybe u have a clogged injector, check the spark plugs, they should be light brown

I experienced startup problems few times before this but this is the first time it shut off on me. Another thing, it only happens in the morning.

possible fuel issue. do you get all your gas at the same station? try a different place if possible.

It’s interesting that you say that because actually I do get my gas at the same station for the past few months. I wish that's the problem that way I don't have to take my car to Mitsu Dealership and deal with their super customer service crap. Thanks

I only use 93 octane since I bought the car. Never put anything else in it.

its crazy how u have this problem. i have posted about mine doing the same thing, but when it is hot (engine) or very warm/hot outside. now that it is cool out. zero starting issues. mine did it when i would get in it to go home from work (sat in the sun) and right after i drove it (turned it off, then tried starting it again). of course when i took it to mitsu it started right up. had it sit at the dealership all day, no luck. good luck to you (and good luck to me come the summer).

I decided to fill up at the Mobile station as "wevo1985" suggested and I think it worked. It’s been two days since I filled up the tank at different gas station and haven't had a problem yet.
Thanks all for replies.
