The gap on the edges a few people were talking about is due to the differences in the aluminum and steel roofs. Is there an aftermarket VG designed to work with the steel roof cars?

I would go for the cheaper one only if it has good quality. If there are not a lot of complaints out there, I would go for it!

On the Rexspeed site they have 2 VGs in black, OEM Black and Tarmac Black. I read the descriptions but still want to know , whats the difference? Which one did you TB owners get?

i ordered my vortex generator off of ebay for 34 bucks with free shipping hahaha

i got mine in black thou and the paint quality is actully really good, i was extremly surprised since i thought i was gonna get junk.

But for 34 bucks how can i go wrong?

also keep in mind i went with mine for looks, i dont race my car its just a driver when its nice out.

but i would vote rexpeed...same thing as stock IMO just cheaper.

never buy from the stealership when there is a cheaper alternative unless there is a major quality difference.

I had a black one from ebay and it looked great then about a year it started fading even waxing it and all. It eventually cracked so my next will be Rexpeed if they still sell them in RR

My guess is TB Owners got the Tarmac Black one. I think the OEM Black one is when they VG was black, but the cars were other colors. For example an Apex Silver evo with a black VG probably used the OEM black. Make sense? I'm not 100% sure, but just my guess

I have a cf vg that came with the car when I bought it. Not sure what brand it is, but its not oem. I vote for rexspeed or any decent aftermarket one.
