two of my friends have rexpeed one and the paint is fading away on both of them but im not knockin rexpeed i still have some of there parts

I went with rexpeed, fitment is perfect but it is noticeably different from oem.

rexpeed is also good, but what aboud Speed Element, went hunting online and i bought these last week might come in today http://www.speedelement.com/index.ph...mart&Itemid=38 i paid $50.00

i wonder if rexpeed even did any r&d on the vg's, or they just tried copying the design and get paid?

There was another VG thread where IndyEvo stated he measured the Rexpeed and it was very different from OEM. That he actually gave that one to someone to get rid of it. It has never been proven to work; in a wind tunnel, on a track, etc..

See this is what i don't get. On one hand people say it's exactly the same (ie a mold), and others say it isn't. How can that be up for grabs. It either isn't or is. And if it IS, it doesn't need to be proven to work in a wind tunnel, it's a complete replica.

It sure would be nice for this to be cleared up. I would be SHOCKED if Rexpeed made it different than OEM. It costs money to do R&D. It would be a lot quicker for Rexpeed to make a mold and be done with it.
