Check that your rear O2 sensor is not hitting the underbody of the car. That is a relatively common place for a short.

I never checked this thread but if you do a search i started something about this a few months back and have helped a cpl other evom members with this problem being the number 8 fuse as mine has done the same thing 3 times! I have brought the car to mitsubishi 4 times and they said there is nothing they can do...they are afraid to call mitsu corporate for the fact they may void my warranty which is almost up anyway. I also cannot get my two step to engage which I believe is an electrical issue with the car!. I am lost as to what is truly causing this problem. Stay in touch with me if this happens again-JOEYD

search "repeatedly blown fuse" and you'll find your answer. you likely are running a test pipe with the o2 anitfowler fix.

yes I am running this setup but...that fuse is an ecu/pump fuse. Dynoflash Al has never seen it until my car and pretty much everyone you talk to has never heard of this happening. I believe there is something more messed up with the car electrically especially in my case with the two step not engaging as well. I tried a new ECU and still won't work. I hope to find out what the hell the problem is that is causing this-JOEYD
