Thanks for the advices/warnings guys! They're much appreciated .
So anyways, since I'm still saving up, I have a question. For all of you who own a USDM Evo IX, how much did you guys pay for down payment? I know they can be different, but I wanted to know the average of what people usually pay. Alright thanks guys!

I put down a couple of thousand so payment is kinda high. and btw go with the USDM EVO.

Without trying to hijack the dude's thread but would it be a good deal to try to import an FQ?

Why would anyone want to do this when there are plenty of street legal IXs that were sold at US dealerships?

Yeah importing kinda sucks. It depends on what state your in, but here in MN you have to pay a pretty big tax. I wanted to get an Integra Type R. I could get a pretty nice one for only 6,000 but after the tax it would be 9,000. Then add 2,000 for shipping so the total would be 11,000.

its the bling factor that is probably being looked for but the import costs and making it legal are probably completely not worth it.

I think folks asking questions about importing should be banned.

That's stupid. This is the Evo General section where we could discuss anything we want about Evo 1-9. There is no hostile intention in my question, it is simply out of curiosity. So if you don't like it, then why are you visiting this thread? Just because you may prefer the USDM Evo that doesn't mean everyone else does. People have different opinions about Evos so live with it.
