They put an Evo up for sale on Ebay about once or twice a month. They rarely meet the reserve price.

It's a cheap way to advertise. I will do it too to save money on advertisement. It's only cost a few bucks to post your car at Ebay. But the target audience will be any ebay users throughout the world. In reversed, you paid hundreds just to advertise your company over local newspaper, TV ad, radio ad.....

 

The RSII is still made in Japan. Which technically does not make it a part of their market, but you know how many hits they must get from using those three little letters?

As for them having the car...yes, they most likely are in posession of it, but its street legality is another issue altogether.

I like how the ad says it will outperform a Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and a Ferrari 360 Modena...hey, the Evo is a great car, but that's stretching it a bit, don't ya think?

 

ITS NOT A GSR ITS AN RSll THE SPECS ARE MUCH DIFFERENT. ITS BASICALLY A ****IN RALLY CAR. BY THE WAY I HAVE BEEN IN KOREA FOR LIKE ALMOST TWO MONTHS NOW, AND DAMN I HAVE BEEN DISSAPPOINTED IN THE AUTOS HERE. THEY HAVE SOME REALLY NICE TIBURONS; HOWEVER, I HAVE SEEN ONLY ONE EVO. IT WAS A Vll AND RHD, SO THAT MADE IT A LITTLE BETTER. I HAVE SEEN TWO SKYLINES NIETHER GTR BUT STILL NICE A TON OF THESE LITTLE *** LOTUS ESPRIT. THEY HAVE GOT TO BE THE UGLIEST DAMN CAR. SORRY TO RANT

It totally blows dealers take that fun away form you and charge you for it too? and most of the time they still can't get it right (spring inserts, anyone?) or even worse damage soemthing while doing it?!

You're probably talking about the Lotus Elan, not the Esprit. Kia bought the tooling for these from Lotus in the late 1990's and now they build a bunch of them for the korean market. Little front wheel drive convertible?
