do you have extra lens covers laying around at your shop? i would think the easiest solution would be to replace it?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but has anyone found an answer to what is going on?

Has anyone actually corrected the lenses to remove the halos/marks?

Thanks

the lenses are the same that cover the bulbs. those damages existed prior to paint.
if it's a big issue go jdm tails

No, the "damages" occurred after I opened them and painted them. There were no pre-existing conditions before I painted them.

I'm planning on buying another set of tails, if these are non-repairable. Just don't want to blow money on cosmetic stuff.

mine have that too, also the glue used around the sides turned yellow and now they get condensation in them and fog up. I thought it was just cheap ebay ones that the owner before me got.
