What tool are you using for Spot Weld Removal
I just use the drill bit you can buy that's specifically for spot welds, you can set it to how deep you want it to penetrate the metal and drill them all out withing seconds. Great bit and its like 25 bucks. And if you hit them dead on it'll pop right off, otherwise an air chisel will help when you need to remove that last little piece
You can get the bit from Snap on, its got a little bit inside of another bit and it drills a mini pilot hole and also drills the spotweld out, but the easy tool is this thing that wraps around whatever your drilling and it puts pressure on the spot weld so you dont have to sit there pushing your drill, it does it all for you.... The only draw back is the price, get ready to spend 3-600 bucks...
I've used rota-broaches in the past with good results.
