If you put everything back in and all work you will get 15k if not about 10 to 12k.

$14-15k if there are zero mechanical flaws. ZERO!!

And you pretty much limit yourself to the hardcore buyer as well. Just because you have no heat or ac....Think of it as if you keep the thing your losing money. Evo's are money pits give it to someone else.

If your not lazy. Take off all the parts and sell the car for like $12.5 or something stock. And try to sell your stuff to get another 5 grand or something. This economy is crazy man, I don't know someone willing to buy top dollar like they would last year.

Maybe some parents would buy your car for their 18 year old kid or something.

Put a turbo on and list it at 15k. Then people would offer you something. If you list it somewhere at 13k your going to get low balled.

KBB blows a$$. As long as gas is cheap and people want to go fast, then the market for sports cars will be strong as always.

Bottom line is - how bad do you want to get rid of it and how much do you expect to get out of it? Times are rough for many folks, and getting an evo (let alone a molested one and ac-less one) is even less desirable to acquire vs. getting say, a green friendly civic or a fit. If you do want to get your money's worth at least put the time in and put it back to its stock form and you can get at 15k if its mechanically sound. If not, you'll definitely find a buyer in its current form for 10K for sure - and that's not sarcasm neither...either way good luck to you and hope I'm not faced with this dilemma (still 14K in debt with my evo and closing in on 60K )

I would get a turbo first. I dont know very many people that would want to buy a sports car without driving it first.

I think I can hang on to it long enough to get a turbo back in and get the a/c heater back in... you guys are right... as is narrows the market of potential buyers down too much.

just put a used evo 8 turbo in there, fix the AC then list it. if the car is in perfect mechanical order you should get a decent value because in the end it still is an evo. otherwise your going to have to find someone who is willing to buy a car that doesnt drive, tow it to whereever they are, and then spend time to fix it. therefore effectively eliminating people who would want it as a DD. regardless gl with the sale

The a/c is not a big deal to drive without, my a/c isn't working for the past two years because the freon leaked out (the dealer ordered parts to fix for free but I never set up the installation appointment.
The turbo on the other hand is a needed.
I say without the turbo 17K with the turbo 18-20K.
Good luck..
