Passenger side mirror

i have a question.. today i broke my passenger side glass... and i have access to a regular lancer to get the glass..... the question is i can remove the glass from the lancer and will fit on the evo assembly??? and is posible remove the glass or i need buy a new one??

the glass is removable out of most mirrors. im not 100% sure on the evo so dont hold me to that. im sure someone can confirm

but most of the time when you goto swap mirrors, you either break the plastic tabs that hold it into the mirror housing taking it out or break the mirror itself taking it out. it takes patience. ive done quite a few when i worked at a dealership, and broken probably 60% of them even the most experienced guys broke them a lot. so its just something you gotta be extra careful.

anytime plastic is exposed to heat and cold it gets very fragile. just keep that in mind

you can go to a glass shop and they can cut you one to fit and install it...it's cheap really i used to work at one...or they can order a new one factory style but that costs more
