best hid kit...
got mine from 1320engineering.net had them for about a year now no problems
not wise to put hid's in the high beams, ballasts need to warm up. if youre going to be flashing them on and off they might blow out

Installation is just as important as the bulb quality.
If you want to use OEM one designed for GSR/MR, you would most likely need a GSR/MR headlamp case as well, and thats where the cost comes from, it could add up to like 800-900 brand new just on the parts!! You may try to mod the bulb to fit the RS casing, but its too much of a risk. From what I remember, they look similar but they're not.
Also the stock one is at 4100k or somewhere around there, which is plenty good, but some people want brighter, and I believe 5000k is the brightest you can get, and anything higher just raises intensity but reduce overall brightness, which does nothing but annoy other drivers and pedestrians on the road. Also, some people want specific color along with the brightness. Although it depends on the bulb manufacturer, general trend is:
4k - white, could look very pale yellow, still show those pretty purple vortexes, most stock Japanese xenons are at this level
5k - bright white, could look pale blue, most euro car xenons are at this level
6k - light blue, probably the most popular aftermarket range
8k - blue, could look slightly purple
10k+ - purple, very intense to the eyes but does not look bright (considering that we're comparing the same wattage of bulbs for all)
