It hardly ever snows over here in Texas, but if it did, I would just brush it off with my hands and just say no big deal. Now, I do hate it when it's raining very hard and rain pours in when I open my door........Worst of all, one day a left my windows cracked slightly open and it started raining....Luckily I remembered and ran out quickly to roll up my windows before it got bad.

As long as you wear gloves and wipe off the top part of the door before opening it's usually not a problem

Take the brush inside with you, or use your sleeve to wipe the snow.

I have a snowbrush in my house and car. When I go to work I bring the snowbrush with me so I dont have to go to the trunk to retrieve it later.

leave your doors open. Snow can't fall in when you open the door cause it will always be open!!! then you can just hop right in!!

Also can we get a mod to move this to the advanced section, maybe someone could write up a how to.

When we got 10 inches of snow a couple of weeks ago I didn't even think about it and opened the door. Frozen *** on the 50 minute drive home. I like 4 miles away and was wearing shorts and a t shirt - freakin' Vegas freak weather.

Just wipe it off with your arm though. Frozen arm isn't as bad as frozen ***.
