quick question.. yesterday i got a set of front brembos and they were dark deep red color


not the everyday brightred... and it had the brembo in gold

i was wondering if someone just painted them or these are off a certain year or edition I.E MR

They were either painted or they turn into what people call brownbo's. The older brembo's had a problem where the paint would turn brown because of the heat produced from the brakes. If you can, get some pics up.

 

They probably where drivin hard at the track and overheated.Dosen't mean they are ruined just the paint has cooked and changed color.

i scratched up some paint and if repainted they were done correctly... but the gold color threw me off.
