Earlier this year AMS was one of 7 shops chosen to compete in an engine competition hosted by Castrol Syntec. We walked away with a first place finish and had a blast in the process.

We have created a page on our site with some detailed pictures of the engine durring its construction, completion and testing. Also Rich has spent some time putting together a video about the event including the never before seen footage of our record dyno pull on the engine dyno. If you think a car is wild on a chassis dyno....wait till you see a 1035hp pull on an engine dyno!!

That dyno pull was amazing on the engine dyno. Gave me the chills that thing just wouldnt stop.

Amazing! Great job...do you have any other information regarding the Moroso Dry Oil system used on that engine?

 

The dry sump we will be releasing in just about two weeks. Just waiting on some last minute parts to show up.

I will look into who won the motor. We had no part in that, that was all Castrol.
