Anyone with a stock evo 9?
Can someone post a closeup picture of the area behind the radiator and in front of the battery that shows how much space should be between the, what I believe is the UICP pipe (the part wrapped in the black material), and the back of the radiator.
My car was damaged in the front and some stuff was bent up, and I'm trying to see if my bodyshop repaired my car correctly. I don't remember that pipe practically touching the back of the radiator.
thanks!

its all going to depend on aftermarket UICP or stock. But IMO either way its going to sit 1/2" away to touching. Not a big deal. Unless its smashed up completly against it, then dont worry about it, sounds like they put it back together ok.
x2... also remember, there are over 4k evo9's in the US, they are not all going to be the same because of part tolerance. You may be able to losen the pipes and move their locations slightly, then retighten.
My stock 9's pipe is about 4mm away from the rad fan's plastic edge.
Hope this helps.
Ok, thanks guys.
I just knew that the metal bar across the top of the radiator was bent, so it needed replaced, and I didn't remember what it used to look like before the accident (never thought to look), so I wasn't sure if it was fixed right. It just seemed odd to me that it would be so close or touching from the factory, so I thought there might be something out of whack still.
thanks
