Any ideas on the best way to remove graphics from the trunk lid?

it didnt get painted.... the crappy vinyl got painted.... you might try a hair dryer first before a heat gun, its a little less risky and could get the same results

Just wanted to give a

to trying hair dryer before heat gun. I've gotten vinyl stickers and badges off with goo gone and a normal hair dryer on every car i've owned.
