I purchased my Evo from him this past September. Josh was one of those guys who thought of his Evo as his child. Josh was also one of the most honest, genuine, and kind hearted people I will ever have had the joy of meeting. He made me comfortable with the thought of buying an Evo that I had never seen that was 12 hours away. Needless to say when I showed up to pick it up I was pleasantly surprised and it was better than I imagined. Josh and his parents made it the one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life. I feel like I could write a book about how awesome he was and I only spent a day with him. I opened my email today to find an email from his mother explaining that he passed away on Christmas Eve. I know some people on the forum knew him so I thought I would start this thread for his Mom and Dad. He did the same for his best friend who helped him wrench on his car, so I am doing the same.

WOW.. I spoke to him on the phone in late May. I was also supposed to buy that car but the bank jerked me on the financing. Anyway he seemed like a really nice guy.

Sorry to hear, ill keep his family in my prayers. It is a very difficult thing to lose a friend, or a part of the family.

 

I had a cousin who battled heart problems and died way too young, its a shame to hear this news.
