I have that same CF shift boot.
I got it from ebay, and i think the seller is "jasonscarparts" or JBS Customs is ebay store.. something like that..
100% real carbon fiber and is pretty cheap..
Looks sweet to me.. and fit perfectly.
You just have to use your oem bracket thats underneath the console piece.

 

Which other six speed setup from another car can use, which other cars shift knob is compatible?

I like the mr shift knob too if anyone is trying to get rid of one pm me. The mr knob is a direct fit on the base ix right?

 

Are you guys just twisting off the stock knob or peeling the sticker off on top and loosening the screw?

took the knob off my MR no problemo. The handle on the one I have is all plastic, so no threat of scratching anything up...
