Haven't bought an EVO tail from ebay, but I bought a Maxima one recently. It fit perfectly and it was in good condition. So i personally have had a good experience buying tails off ebay.

I dont have any personal experience but I remember seeing a video where a guy was shooting his ebay taillights with a gun. I dont know how the fitment was but im assuming they weren't too good. If you do get them make sure there is a thick bead of silicon or else they will fill with condensation.

My friend bought those for his VIII they were fine for a few months, but when winter came they would get moisture in them and fog up like those ricers we see everywhere. He fixed them by sealing them with some all weather silicone.

Can't view the link due to being at work right now, but I have some lights from a seller that sells on ebay.

They look just like the OEM Evo 8 MR's, all except for they don't say, Stanley, on them in the lower corner.

Fitment is very nice in my opinion, and I am very picky on details like that.

Before I ever put them on the car, I went and got some clear silicone, and put a nice thick, coat all the way around the lights, no problems yet

As sti.this said, heck of a lot better than paying the 500 bucks for the real deals if you are on a budget for lights.

They look great, fitment is great, but the clear lense scratches very easily. Youll see in the vid how condensation gets in. So even if you do seal it, you'll still have the chance of these spots showing up.

My buddy had those exact ones on his evo, they fit fine and never had a problem. But I am sure that was a freak set of tails because I only here bad things about them.
