I could never justify buying seats that are 3 grand for any reason unless I had stupid money to blow like that.

well thats the reason im looking into these, and its my way of having a reason to get something a lil different. lol. i cant find a passenger seat thats in good condition for less than the price of those bride seats...

 

Well how exactly did your friend break your seat?

 

the inner, i guess bolster, of the passenger seat broke backwards. now it just kinda hangs there.

My friend got a pair off ebay for $400 shipped and they are the real deal so think what you want they could just be and older style and have too many that why they seem "cheap" thats just my 2 cents

^+1 You never know what could happen to the seat during a crash.

As for those "bride seats" I would say know because I think the backing is supposed to be kevlar not black plastic.

 

there fake... it says first off in the auction, not made in japan, also it should have BRIDE engraved on the metal pieces on the side that are vertical twords the backing on the seat. look on ebay.

Another member is selling real ones and pointed out all the differance to explain why he was selling them used for 1600 when there were others (fake) for 750 NEW...

 

but with that said...lol id still think about buying those before actually spending thousands for a new set. Not for my evo..... but maybe in my 1G or another car
