It broke because the upper mating surface that attaches to the bumper was very thin and it split.

^thats a pic of a real ralliart lip as u can see the logo in the middle. I paid extra 15 bucks for insurance just to be safe

it just broke during a high speed high way run.. the part that mates to the car stayed on.. it just split all the way across and i ran it over. Enjoy your purchase.
