Please Vote - I want to start a mini T-Shirt business for Evo Enthusiasts

Hello everyone, I've been thinking about starting my own T-Shirt Business and my target audience is Car Enthusiasts.

I know how much I love my Evo and I feel comfortable with starting this venture on the same Passion I share with other members of EvoM.

The idea started with a T-shirt I had made that said "I don't smoke Cigarettes just STI's"

It had some primitive images that went with this shirt, but I got so many positive comments for the shirt during last years DSM shootout that it has pushed me to think more seriously about starting a mini T-shirt business

A good friend of mine who is an awesome artist has decided to partner up with me in making this idea into a reality. Here is a sample of his work

http://aleroart.com/page8/page8.html

What I want to know from you is.. Would you be interested in something like this. I'm trying to Gauge interest for the Evo community. Thank you for your feedback

I vote for you not creating two threads about this same subject.

If this is something you do start - you will need to become a vendor here. Just pointing that out.

Considering I'd love to cater to the community.. I'd gladly accept your ideas/phrases and if I liked them enough I would produce that shirt and offer you a free one with your logo as a thank you.

All of this is still thrown up in the air.. I might even decide to simply do custom shirts for the Evo Community that they can put together their own design shirts from my pre-made templates.. I'm not sure how I'm going to go about this business venture yet but thanks for the suggestion.. I'll definitely toss the idea around.

Ofcourse.. I'm planning on that.. and while we are on the subject feel free to pm me information on how to get this started.

Right now i"m just trying to gauge interest to see if this is something I want to invest in. It's quite a bit of cash to get started so I want to feel confident about it.

I'm always up for a new t-shirt if the quality is nice, the fabric is soft, and it's unique.

I would love to have a t-shirt as long as I like it. There are not many shirts out there for the Evo!

I think it's a great idea - I hope your friend can draw cars though. I was a tad disappointed the link to his work only had cartoony characters. While you're at it, could you expand into making EVO sweaters/ hoodies? That would be awesome.

Great idea, I'll see what I can do about the hoodies.. And also I'll get some sketch designs from him on Wednesday. I know I have a good eye for talent and I am also aware that drawing characters and cars are entirely different. My main selling point however is catchy phrases I feel I'm pretty creative and I have a passion for my car.. I'll see what I can come up with and I'm always up for ideas from people like you.. Thanks.

I would be interested in a purchase also, but I would watch for copywrite infringements from Mitsu.
Show us some samples when you come up with some ideas.

I'd rather have a clean design on my shirt than a phrase that looses it's humor the 2nd time you say it. For instance, I'm also a huge fan or Porsche, I own this red t shirt with a profile of a 911 and Porsche underneath. Nothing else needs to be said.

I don't need a "tight lookn' shirt yo!".
