yeah there is a place that sells them on ebay for around 60 shipped. I got me some for my evo 8 and they are some blue lights. was thinking about getting the fogs too but I have to get me a different front bumper first.

for high beam HID does it requiered another ballast to make it works?

I got HID for my RS and it came with ballast ( lowbeam )

HID high beams would be sort of useless. The HID ballasts needs like 20-30 seconds to fully warm up. Unless your gonna keep them on for awhile.

So people, tell me, if you will install a HID on your high beam (EVO 9 MR), do you need the whole kit or just the plug and play will do?

All HID systems I saw in all brand of car have a ballast... but could be plug and play
