Seibon CF VG mold

Does anyone know if Seibon has changed their mold for the Carbon Fiber Vortex Generators since 05-06? Or has anyone ordered one within the last year and have had fitment issues?

I tried to cancel my order the next morning after reading all the posts about crappy fitment but CVR Motorsports said it was already picked up for shipping and that fitment shouldn't be a problem . I asked them if Seibon had changed their VG molds since 2006 and they said yes several times. The VG I ordered has the antennae hole already cut from the manufacturer, I know the ones ordered from 2006 did not so hopefully I'm getting a newer improved batch. fingers and toes crossed

How did you have it installed? Don't the ends of the VG tuck under the black gutter strips? This is not good to hear

You should apply a decent amount of double sided tape on the actuall roof too. I wouldn't rely soley on the black strips.

I could see it flying off if its only held down by the gutter strips.. though with 3M double tape I don't see that happening, especially if you clean the area
