Pic Request of Stock Evo IX exhaust

I just bought a IX MR and can't tell of the exhaust is stock or not. It looks like it is but the tip does not. Does someone have a picture of a stock exhaust handy? I'll try to post a picture of what I have when I get home.
Thanks

Shouldn't be hard to tell if the exhaust is stock or not.

Just look at the piping, if the tip looks anything remotely close to aftermarket it probably is, and the stock exhaust is pretty damn quiet so that should be a give away too.

Now I already know your gonna wonder what kind of exhaust it is next, so just go take some pictures and save us all some time

The stock IX muffler says Mitsubishi on the bottom.

Yeah, I meant to take some pictures when I had it on a lift but I left the camera at home. I'll try snapping some from the ground when I get home. I didn't see any name on the muffler but it looked big and heavy like a stock muffler. It's pretty quiet at idle but does sound a little aggressive when driving it. Not too loud when reving it though so that's why I'm not sure. Thanks for replying and hope to get some more after posting up pics tonight.

I just got the car this past Friday and the Service Engine light came on; p0420. I have an appt with a local dealer for this Friday and they said if it had an aftermarket exhaust it will be denied warranty. I clarified it to him that the affected part would not be under warrant; not the entire car. He agreed for a bit and then said it was a sports car and that possibly the Turbo and Engine would not be covered if anything was to happen to them as well. I just told him the truth that I just bought the car and didn't know if it was a stock muffler or not. I'm not trying to rip the dealer or Mitsubishi but come on...the exhaust voiding the engine warranty. What are my options for the p0420 if the muffler is not stock? Just get a 02 sim? I didn't think just an exhaust would cause that.

hmmmm, i thought p0420 was a HFC or test pipe problem most of the time. Do people get that with the stock exhaust ever?

Don't let the stealership bs you around. Although some are really ****ty like that so you may have to try another Mitsu somewhere near you.

Do some reading up on the code, search: p0420

I did read up on the code both on Evom and just a general google search. That's really my main reason for wanting to find out if the exhaust is stock. I really wasn't going to mod the evo until my warranty expired and even then I'm only thinking minor items. This is actaully my weekend family car so I don't plan to be doing any track racing or launching. I figure it probably is just a bad sensor. I'll see how it goes at this particular dealer; Hub Mitsubishi.
