Sorry to hear that man. It's sad to know there are so many people out there who dont respect someone else's property. I had a RSX about 4 years ago that was egged. Left some nice lasting damage as well. After that i was always paranoid that something was going to happen to any of my cars, especially the Evo.

 

Had my new RA for 2 days.. on the third.. it was keyed.. not deep but it stands out like a ***** cause my cars black

our cars are hated by everyone, I have a friend that the same thing happened to him. I always thikn about what someone is willing to do to hate on my car.

Your best bet is to see if you can get it buffed out, I dont know if that will do it but its worth a try.

Ahhh the life of owning a Evo and having haters...welcome.

 

Threads like this make me extra paranoid on days when Ive had to leave my Evo out downtown at the mechanics. My first car(86 Lebaron Convertable) got egged after about the first week I had it as a practical joke by my friends, thing is that young dumb high schoolers that werent into cars didnt realize what it would do the paint. Those were a sad pair of years that I owned it and couldnt get it fixed.

 

I had the same thing happen to me, but it sat for 4 days. Paint was ruined.

 

caught the neighbor's teenage kid from down the street egging my evo once. I was in the garage working on my civic when all of a sudden i hear splat right on the roof of my evo parked in the driveway. I run out the garage and see the kid down the street about to throw another. Screaming my head off with a ratchet in my hand, I run down the street ready to beat this kid down. Ended up with his parents apologizing and willing to pay for the damage. Luckily for him the egg splatter just washed right off with no damage. How stupid can you be egging your neighbor's car during daylight with the garage open. Oh, theres another incident involving oranges while I was driving but thats a different story involving the police. Life in the ghetto. Im glad I moved out that neighborhood.

LOL yeah i know what you guys mean. I now put on a car cover for my car.. I wouldn't be suprise if someone steals that xD... but usually my car is always garaged unless Im staying a night at someones house :] Maybe it was karma... but I haven't done nothing like that lately to anyones car I respect them all! even a Geo metro... harhar ;p

 

Had the opposite done to me =/ A bunch of drunk guys were rollin by in their evo and egged me. No, I wasn't in a car, I was just walking down the street.

My Evo got egged outside the last place i lived. hated cleaning that **** off. But yeah far away you couldn't tell too bad, but if you get right up on the passenger side, you could see a couple of weird crop circle chips in the paint. But panels been repainted since then. They mostly egged my rims. Which was kind of lucky. Easier to clean off than the paint, and little bit of billet polish and they looked like new anyway, haha.
