towing without reinstalling trany?

I've got my trany taken out and both front wheel assemblies taken apart and I have moved and need to move the car. I'm waiting on one silly little part(the felt buschings in the clutch fork assembly) to put the trany back in and dont want to do it twice. I've got a flat bed that I can use to tow it with but am wondering the best way to go about this. Anyone ever towed their evo without the trany before?

I towed my evo to the shop with the tranny and motor taken out. I let the driveshaft spin freely and towed it from the front wheels.

It shouldn't matter where your tranny is (installed or not) as long as you have the car up on a flatbed.
