evo 8 cf wing question?

I was looking around and i could not find anything sorry if this is a re-post.

Is there a way to remove the uprights(aka side parts that are painted to match the cars color) so i can sand them down to make it all CF and re-clear my spoiler? I just cant seem to sand in the cracks LOL

Use a paint stripper not sanding.

Exactly, if you only use sand paper you will never stop sanding.

Did mine by hand and it would have been obscenely hard without it.

CF is stable to solvents. All you have to worry about is the binding agent, but not really. Pre-preg CF has the agent laminated into the carbon, then has it baked to activate it. The good news is that this material being thermosetting is subsequently non-reactive. The clear coat shoulc come right off with aircraft stripper.

This DOESN'T apply to FAKE carbon fiber.
