Ah yes, I share your passion. This is about 1/3 of my collection, the others are all in their boxes, and I rotate them every couple of months. Fortunately, Exoto is painfully slow with their releases, and since that's pretty much all I buy now, I am not accumulating as fast.

Here is an example of some Exoto detail. Fully functional exact reproduction of suspension, gear lever moves, wheels come off with machined lock nut, etc.

heh, I took all my F1 models down last year since I was so upset about how bad the series had become - it might as well have been the Ferrari series and people who want to follow from 2000 - 2003. If Kimi can pull a miracle next race, I'll build another 4 shelves and bring em back out.

Our Family Room has shelves filled with the 1:18 die casts on both sides of the game consoles and TV. I often play with the cars in between GT3 and Moto GP online races, heh. It all surrounds the racing seat to play GT3 with the Driving Force Wheel and pedals. My son practices on it and he's very anxious to start shifter kart racing in 3 years. Until then I can use the models to show him the wet and dry driving lines. etc.

Hehe, this thread was about 1:18 die cast cars..
