so i put on my ams TBE last friday ran great for 3 days sunday came along my SES light came on didnt think really much of it i figured it was on because theres no cat? but my issue now is at 5000 rpms my car wont let me go past it its like it cuts out or it jerks really hard just looking to see maybe if anyone has had this problem or knows anything about it?

 

Either spark breakup or fuel cut. My guess is fuel cut. You're probably exceeding the load limit values in your ECU. From the factory they are pretty low so any turn-up to 22-23psi will cause you to hit fuel cut.

You need to flash your ECU with a higher load limit, or preferably just get tuned. While you're at it, apply mrfred's O2 simulator patch and acamus' OBD inspection patch to force all tests to pass.

 

re-flash the ECU.
