Buying an EVO?

Hi guys, im am new to the forum and I have a couple of noob questions. I am researching and looking for a car. What I want to know is, has the EVO had any mechanical problems so far or electrical? How about any problems? except (ECM harness).
And how do you guys like your EVO's? Any feedback would be great.. Thanks

just a thought, do a search. Some people complain about rust. Some people complain about seat noise. Some people complain about steering vibrations at 70mph. Some people complain the clutch is to weak. It's all on a case by case basis. Do the research and then decide.

I love my evo, no problems to speak of. I definitely recommend getting one.

I have almost 9K miles on mine at this point and can highly recommend it. The car gets lots of attention, and handles and accelerates extremely well.

I haven't had any mechanical problems or concerns yet and don't really expect any. I do have one problem: The AC fan is making a light "clicking" noise on low speed (almost like there's a leaf in there somewhere and the fan blade is whacking it). I'll have the tech look at it when I go in for the 10K oil change.

I drive the car assertively, and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance and reliability at this stage.

Good luck!
