Just thought I'd get some opinions on this. I can't quite swing an EVO right now, and am curious about what might be around the corner. Apparently no changes for MY2004, but at some point the next EVO will arrive here. There were some rumors of a 2.4 turbo to compete with the STi. What do you think? It would seem like the six speed would be a sure thing for the next USDM EVO, if not sooner.

With 2000cc being maximum displacement in WRC , I dont see mitsubishi putting a larger motor in the car... and who cares this motor rocks anyways

Subaru cheated us into thinking we got a better car with the STi. A *****in car nonetheless, but still not a true STi. Just like a 4.6L mustang after they became a household name of the X generation with the 5.0. Bad analogy/comparison whatever you may call it. Drunk.....sorry.
