Just as the title says. I was wondering this because I've been looking around for aftermarket parts for the Evo 9 and the majority of the parts say they are only for the Evo 8, but some say they are for both. And I thought they had the same engine, just the 9 had a few changes.

But would it hurt to put Evo 8 parts on a 9?

cams are different aside from that most bolt ons are the same

a dp that is not for an ACD equipped evo will not work with a ix
