Wrong forum (And this has been covered) but before the topic gets locked. E85 gas (if it truly E85 gas) has an octane rating of more like 104-106.

There has been debate as to if you are truly getting E85...a lot of times its like E-75 to E-85, depends on the gas station. Be wise to get a E-85 gauge (Zeitronix makes one thats nice).

C16 is something like 110 or more I believe. But C16 is 7-8 dollars a galon...whereas E85 is about 2.29 (At least in my area).

EVery car we tuned with Q16 and then swapped to E85 we made more power on Ethanol.. We are about the crank my Black Evo that made 1000whp on a 42r last year with VP import which is 120+ Octane..

I believe when we go back to the 42r and ethanol we wont have any issues make 1000+...

FWIW.. The octane rating is meaningless when talking Ethanol.. it makes more power than Higher Octane Race gas..
