While I was out last night someone decided that it would be cool to break my passenger side tail light. Luckily they didn't damage anything else so I guess that's a plus. But still it's pisses me off that someone would just do something like this for no reason.

Anyone know if just the lens could be replaced or will I have to buy the entire housing?

 

You can replace the lense, but takes a lot of time to seperate the housing. Easier to replace the entire lamp.

This happened to me once. People don't like clear tail lights and this is usually the result (sad but true). I was *kinda* happy when it happened to me because it gave me the chance to upgrade. Contact EvoDave. He might be able to supply you with some OEM ones painted red and maybe take yours off of your hands since he does lots and lots of light modifications and might have a use for the parts.

 

I'll definitely contact EvoDave. I just hate to pay for a entire housing if this can be repaired.

 

Some people are such idiots but karma is a b#tch. Maybe consider the depo version of the jdm tails

 

I've heard nothing but stories of condensation inside the lenses on this brand.
