Question Greddy Turbo Timer in Stock Clock Location?

Hey- I have seen this on the forums.. For those who have done this mod, what did you use to cut the thick plastic to fit the greddy perfectly into the stock clock location? Also, how is it held in? I'm guessing by 3M tape? I really like this place for the Greddy Turbo Timer and would like some insight for people that have done it. I just don't want it falling down while driving because of vibrations, etc.. I want it STABLE! Also, did you have to extend the wires to get it to fit. Thanks!!

I used a dremel to do mine. If you want it to fit perfect you WILL have to shave down the console and the timer case. Then i utilized screws and screwed right into the turbo timer housing(pulled the timer apart to make sure i wasn't going to hit the board) through where the factory clock mounted.

Here's a pic:

Lost Spyder- So you just basically drill a hole in the plastic behind there and one in the greddy box and put a screw through it to hold it in? I don't see how you were able to fit a drill and screwdriver in the little space? I am going to make mine fill the entire black area and put the greddy on an angle.. I do like your install, I just want mine to be different and fill the entire area.

Let me know, thanks sir!

I prefer something "different" which is why i did this mod.. and I made mine a lot different than the above person.. I made a custom bracket and made it fill up the entire space where the clock went..

who needs the clock anyways.. you can't even see the thing in the day light.. its a piece of junk.. and plus that's why I have a cell phone ..
