? on buying evoVIII

i might in the next year sell my car and purchase an Evo. I was wondering if u guys think some of the options are worth getting. Are the front and rear strut tower braces good or should i not get them and get an aftermarket brand? Are the hyperground cables worth it? and is the sport meter kit worth it or should i get aftermarket gauges? thx

Evo comes with a steel front strut towers but none in the rear. It would be lot cheaper to buy aftermarket brand than factory for the rear strut tower. Just remember, you will need to cut a hole through the carpet to install these. I don't have the rear but the car handles really good because of the cross braces right behind the rear seats which is the reason they don't fold.

Don't get the hyperground. It just going cost you money for minimum gain. If you want one, just make your own for around $30.

I would get the aftermarket gauge kits. They look nicer and would cost less than the factory depending on what brand you get.

None of the accessories are worth Mitsubishi's asking price.
