Question on modified evo...

Been looking at a few cars now...and the evo just looks great. Im wondering what can you safely modify the evo to around, where you dont have to worry about reliability issues at all. Ive seen people with like 2 mods getting 295 at the wheels.

Just the simple ins and outs. Turbo back or cat back exhaust, intake, bov, down pipe, ic piping. There shouldn't be any complexities with those types of mods in reliability, if you are sticking to that issue. Just my .02 cents.

simple bolt ons won't hurt

when you start messing with boost and a/f, then you are playing with reliability issues in the LONG run...

but we have yet to see any long term results, so it's yet to be seen

You can get alot of reliable performance out of the EVO for around $2,000. An extra 80-100HP and all you have to do is maintain your car(oil and such).
