Hey guys probably a noob question..but..
My evo 4 makes a loud whining sound when you first turn it on, lasts about 4-5 minutes before you wont hear it again until the engine is cold.
Is this something i can fix or is it just merely a sound that my particular car will make?

Hope someone can shed some light on this

More than likely it's the Serpentine Belt screeching/whining. Try and turn it on and listen under the hood to get an idea where it's coming from.

 

Need more details. Where's the sound coming from? My stab in the dark is loose belts.
