I dont like that comparison for the simple fact that their winner was determined by the oil that produced the most power. There is a ton more to oil than the power it frees up from the engine.

Which ones will actually lubricate and protect the engine best? Thats what I want to know...

Just my .02 cents after over 25 yrs in the oil biz...

heel2toe is right on... There is a lot more to testing the performance of an oil. If you have unlimited funds like some racers, yes, HP is important.. But even Racers must look at durability. Such as Oval track engines.. Oil could make the difference between a million dollar payday or a bust and go home day.

rightaway... AMSOIL is an excellent oil and usually gets a bad rap from people that have never used it or even looked at test reports. Their RD Series oils are a Great choice for an EVO

I know for fact that AMSOIL's main goal is to build the best "Overall" oil.. Yes, they have great Dyno results as well, but rely heavily on ASTM Tests to compare the oils other qualities..
