Can somone identify this part from around the radiator area?



I think its part of the radiator shroudage but i cant figure out where it goes!

Any pics of where it goes? It was laying in my bumper when i took it off. Ok thanks!

I think that has to do with the hood/latch. Not important...

It goes just to the right side of the hood latch as you look under the hood.

It helps direct air into the factory intake scoop by sealing the gap between the hood and rad support.

BTW did u paint all that **** yellow?? It looks... uhh.. how do i say it.. CLEAN!!
i like that. I almost bought a yellow 05 but couldnt afford it. Went with white. I like that engine bay!! I want to do something similar!! with white of course.

Well...yes and no. I had a custom hot-rod shop color match the cam cover and wheels to the original paint code. I painted the battery tray when I made it, and then the dip-stick. The radiator hose, battery, and air filter were yellow when I bought them. If I had to do it over, I would have had the cam cover powder coated. Its a lot less work. I just had a set of coil springs powder coated yellow, and they came out great. Thanks for the compliment!

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you asking about the air filter cage, or the honeycomb in the MAF? Either way, yes I do.

yeah i meant the one inside where the maf is. I was reading a while back about people removing them for more flow but I think that sounds like a bad idea. Why dont we have map instead?! maf seems like a waste on a car thats so fun to modify!!
