Front Impact sensors on Evo 8 MR?

My Jap spec evo 8 MR does not seam to have those two crash sensors in the front next the head lights.

I know what they look like as I saw them on the Aus spec evo 8 but mine definitely does not have them.

I am affraid to connect the new air bags, new module and new pre tensioners in case there is an issue with my sensors.

I spoke to Mitsu dealer they said that in the manual it shows that they should be there but when they click on it it says N/A.

Any suggestions?

Is the central module the only sensor needed in this case?

Please help.

I'm not familiar with foreign cars but if the SRS module is programmed from the factory to not incorporate front crash sensors then you should have nothing to worry about hooking everything up.

For example on my car I had both sensors missing and just opted to connect my SRS module and airbags until I could buy the front sensors which were damaged. All that occurred was a SRS light on the dash from the fault code stored in the system which I later had cleared once I got the front sensors.
