Buy well proven quality mods. Cheap, bad mods can ruin our cars. Remember, these are not cheap Hondas.

I have 140,000 miles and still boosting 23 psi strong, at 7k all day long

At 60K on a '03 my car is suddenly pulling like never before. I don't know whether to attribute the change to new belts and plugs or to the fact that maybe I got a very tight engine that is finally breaking in.

On the other hand, a big gold plated screw fell out from under the dash and now I have a creak/rattle that is starting to annoy me.

^gold-plated?! Maybe that was wedged up your car's aise and now it isn't acting like a prissy batch! I'm going to lean towards 60k servicing (sounds like you did that, or had that done).

I am glad your evo is back to the good condition.
Modify the car step by step, always ask people before buying a part, don't just rely on vendor's results, b/c they are not always telling the truth, it's marketing. Don't just throw the big size parts onto the car, such as turbo, cams. Always start out with supporting mods. My stock evo8 turbo feels stronger than a other evo8, evo9 turbo cars even just as strong as bigger turbo car.

Just fine tuning out some speed density issues on the stock ECU atm but everything runs as it should even with boost spikes hitting 32psi on rare occasion.

Its not running at the moment. Haven't been able to drive it since 7/19. Hopefully I'll have it back in a few more weeks.

Glad to hear you got your issues all figured out.

The Honda comments in here are HIL-arious. i owned a Honda and I wasn't afraid to spend good money on quality parts, not all Honda owners are cheap bastards.

Since I've had my car running (Bought 04/28/09 running 06/15/09....long story) I've had to replace a wheel bearing Had a weird pully squeal (so embarassing I didn't want to drive the car) and after spraying everything I could think on it...one day leaving the gas station I stalled (damned tripple plate) it went away on its own. my other wheel bearing is going bad (making bad sounds now...got bad in a hurry), my sub isn't working....rear passenger speaker hasn't been working, missing OEM jack, undertray, injector and sensor clips, the board that lays overtop of the spare needs to be replaced (its all jacked up), foglights wern't working (fixed that), my radio turns my iPhone off randomly (XDA-i305).

Thats all I can think off. They are small things...The rest is awesome.
