Well I really just need to let this out because I'm really pissed off lol. So I was coming home from hanging out with my friends in my evo 8 and almost every night I go to fill up at my local Wawa gas station in Sicklerville. Well next to it a bunch of little kids that have no life bring their piece o shlt Honda civics there and all these other cars... I mean someone even put a turbo in a Buick lol. I don't really bother with them and only talked to them once before, they were complete *** holes. Well tonight I go to fill up my gas tank like usual. This time I see all the kids literally run to their cars. I'm like ohh great what are they going to do now...
Well they all surround me at the gas pump and are like yo you want to race? I was no not really the one kid was like come on and just race I was like dude I’m not racing. He was like well then what are you running down the track I was like probably a 12.6 he was like in this? I was like yeah he was then like yeah right evo's run like 14 flat stock I was like dude I’ve seen evos run 12.8 stock all day! He's like no they don't. I was like okay whatever He asked me again are you going to race. I was like what don't you get I’m not racing. He then goes and says well then what was the point of getting the car... I was kind of pointless on what to say because I will race people, but not jerk offs like this. I was like I don’t know just for show. He then turn around and is like wow what a *****, I just let it go. All 20 of them were making fun of me for not racing.
Now remember I’m only 17 I just got the car 2 weeks ago and I still need to pay 16,000 off... I like to go fast in it, but I’m not trying to kill myself or become a jerk off like these kids... When they started making fun of me I felt like taking all 20 of them on in a fight but instead I drive away.
I turn down the road I live off of and I see this car driving up my ***. I was like oh great there back. So I was thinking I have a scratch on the bumper I could use a new one so I slam the breaks on hard as hell I hear his tires lock up and I just keep going sitting there laughing to myself. Well they finally turn around and I pull in my drive way. Now I have to sit here and look out my window every two seconds because I know they are going to mess with the car... People like that really need to get a ****in life and understand the responsibilities of having a car. The jerk offs like that need to be thought a lesson. They really think they can just race anybody and win... It's so difficult for me to hold back and not race them but I promised my dad I wouldn't race the car unless it was on the track. The reason why is because my dad’s best friend was killed in a car race down a back road. I'm sure he doesn't want to have it happen to his son either.
If you read this whole thing I would like to hear if any other people have to deal with the jerk offs on the road and your stories. Also how do you guys handle situations like this? Thanks!
If you know any of them tell them that need to seriously get a life and be like the rest of us who appreciate the cars and not street racing 24/7. I have nothing to prove. If they really want to race still tell them I’ll be at the track anytime!

Well, as I was filling up my tank as usual, I see all the kids literally run to their cars. I'm thinking to myself, "Oh great, what are they going to do now....."

Another kid was blurted out: "Come on and just race."

I replied: "Like, dude I’m not racing."

He then inquired, "Well then what are you running down the track?"

I responded: "[Hell] Yeah [*****]" (Editor: LOL, I had to put it in.)

He then started bashing, "Yeah right Evos run 14 flat stock."

I then responded: "I’ve seen evos run 12.8 stock all day! [Around your mom too!]"

He goaded: "No they don't."

I just shrugged it off and said: "Okay, whatever [better than your piece of **** Honda, your mommy buy it for you?]." (Editor: You should've said this.)

He asked me again "Well, are you going to race?"

I was like: "What don't you get, I’m not racing. [your POS Honda, stop wasting my gas and time *****!] ".

He then goes and replies: "Well then, what was the point of getting the car?"

I responded: "I don’t know just for show."

He then turn around and scoffed: "Wow, what a *****." (Editor: Then you should shout, "I'll get more in this car than you will in your Civic!")

And then I just let it go.

All 20 of them were making fun of me for not racing.

Tell them that Evos are fast regardless of what they say, and that all their cars combined are worth less than your Evo.

You dont need to prove anything to anyone because its fast, and everyone knows it.

If they want to race, do it at the track with pinks. I'm pretty sure a stock Evo can take them on. Just make sure you get your dads permission.

Yeah, and they're jealous. Pay no heed to ricers.

What do you have to prove...nothing. Who cares if people make fun of you, they are just jealous and how many of us bought the evo just to race? not many. I do track days but I have never street raced my evo. I want to keep it haha You played it smart!

 

Hate these too. When ppl see me, they tend to reckless drive in front of me to show off! Seriously why? The tuner scene around here is pretty calm and we don't call out ppl to race. It's always the ricer/high school kids that do it and think they're cool.

Another incident with these jerks was when all the tuners pull into a parking lot and just hang out. Then you get these idiots squealing tires going out of the parking lot and then the manager of the burger joint that owns the parking lot calls the cops. After that, the cops trapped everyone in and gave everyone parking tickets. A few weeks after the incident, I saw them again in another parking lot and I was a little tipsy. I kept calling them "ricer wanabes" and just got in my car and left. All of them had some crappy civic/integras that are just bad (rust everywhere!). Even saw they had the low models, nothing like "Si" or "GSR" so it's really not worth showing off.

 

Yeah i go down to the Fuddruckers in Turnersville every Friday and the Best Buy in Moorestown every Tuesday. I will probably never see any of them there because they would probably be thrown out. I go to the car shows to have fun meet other people and what not. I'm not there to impress anyone. Then when you get the dumb asses thinking there all that doing a burn out.... Like dude show some respect

 

You did the right thing...except maybe brake checking on the road you live off of while parking in the driveway.

Lol yeah that's the Wawa, it happened tonight at like 11:00. Did you ever see them out there before lol. I laugh every time i drive by. The one on Cross Keys road, I think it my be in Gloucester Township. Next to target and there.

 

Even if i did, i wouldn't talk to them. I'm kinda the Rogue tuner, don't run with a pack. I rarely stop at that wawa anyway but i might have to make a trip to see what these clowns are up to.
