Well there u have it. fitment looks ok, some of the letters were kinda slightly bent funky like E and V but overall not bad.

The letters come with badge for viii and ix and the corresponding cardboard guide.

sorry about your bad luck. Would love a source for the REAL emblem but they don't seem to be in production anymore

I got mine from ebay, like someone else said you gotta be careful when you wash it. Otherwise 1 year and it looks like new still.

I bought the badges from the ebay link noted above .. cost was 25 bucks + 10 for shipping. Out the door, I spent exactly $34.90 total. The sellers name from ebay is tokidokifantasy and I would ABSOLUTELY BUY FROM this person again - great seller!

I placed my order Saturday, Oct 17th at ~8PM PST. I received the part (shipped from Florida to Oregon) in the mail yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, October 21st). They shipped USPS 1st class, immediately after placing the order I received an order confirmation email and the next day I got my tracking number. Was pretty darn fast.

When it showed up, it was a small box and included:
  • EVOLUTION lettering/badge
  • VIII lettering / badge (for the evo8)
  • IX lettering / badge (for the evo9)
  • Cardboard cut out template for the 8
  • Cardboard cut out template for the 9
  • Install instructions
  • Catalog of performance parts from the company

All of the items were in good condition, no problems or blemishes on the badge.

Here's random pics of the box, the goods and my install. I think i have it shifted to the left by like 3/4", but whatever .. I need to goo-gone the old letter section still, but the pics below should suffice to give a good overview of what your buying if you go with this. I can provide better/ hi-res pics if anyone wants them

Thanks for the little write-up digdat, please keep us posted on how they last over time. I'll be looking for UK emblems when I get my IX and since it seems like lancershop won't be getting them anytime soon, I'll probably have to buy from Ebay.

I'm cross-posting this over here in case anyone actually USES the search () and finds this info. It is unsubstantiated, but hopefully someone with enough motivation to get the authentic parts will confirm that they can be had from this supplier:

The "EVOLUTION IX" rear badge is part number SR010344
The "EVOLUTION VIII" rear badge is SR010044
