I happened to see the first evo (Red-Silver) with a licenced plate issued in Februrary. Realized that it was some form of test car that monitored the car through a computer attathed to the OBD II. Couldn't understand the datastream on the computer, but the Odometer read 50,000 miles. Would anyone know more about these test cars? The driver didn't speak or understand any English.

 

well, your close to mitsubishi's N.A. headquarters, but unless it has a manufacturer license plate, it wasnt a test car for mitusbishi.
