i usually let the gauge climb to just over the "c" and just don't boost until operating temp. then again, sometimes i just start and go. but that's in temps of 30-50 degrees so.........

No matter what the weather is I always let it warm up for at least 15 minutes.

The evo I let it warm up to C, which is about 2 min or so. I take it easy until its fully warmed up and dont fully boost until a bit later to get the oil, and driveline fluids to optimal temps. At autox events I just let the car idle when I line up and thats usually enough time to get the fluids warmed up.

My work truck is another story, I start it up and take off.

Driving around in your car for like 3 minutes will warm it up faster than letting it idle lol, plus 15minutes is like a total waste of gas

That is f'ing retarded...1-2 minutes is plenty. No more than 5 for freezing conditions...

I'll change my ways in the summer but for winter I have to decide whether I want to freeze my butt off or not......

It's not retarded. I just don't like to be cold in my vehicle.

I just drive it easy untl it warms up completely. By completely i mean that the oil psi low light flickers at idle (my sensor is broken lol). That's normally like 5-10 min. of driving after the needle hits warm on the water temp gauge. Also, about 13ish psi oil pressure at idle isn't too low is it?
