Ok, so i've been looking into getting this snowboard rack for my evo. If you haven't seen it, its a magnetic single snowboard rack that goes on your roof. here are the links that i found it at.

it says on one of them that all you need is 24 inches for it to fit. which we have. on the other one it says that it doesnt work if you have a sunroof/moonroof. also, will the magnet stick to our roof? i really need some help, im really wanting to get a rack asap and i dont wanna drop a lot of money into it. thanks!

 

You have an 03 so your roof is steel it will stick but not sure if it will clear the sunroof obviously it wont stick to glass

By the pics in the link where the front one is it will be right in the middle of the sunroof man

 

the last time I had a rack on my evo 2 of the inner bases on the front sat right on top of my sun roof. don't know if I could trust a magnet with the speeds I drive.

 

i wouldnt mind going a little slower as long as i get there. the reason i thought it would fit is because the front and back look like that are individual pieces, and they are magnetic, so i can put them anywhere i want. i was going to put the front one right up against the sunfoof and the back one beside the antenna. so it would be off to one side. iw would just sit back further than it looks like in the picture. wadya think? worth a shot?

 

Put the board sideways on the roof, or on the side of your car haha. You could even make it as a double wing if you really wanted too
