put the car in a higher gear, 4 or 5, and fully press the gas pedal...if the rpms raise, but power is not made, the clutch is slipping.

Yup, Your clutch is gone... Looks like you have a 03 or 04. Looks like your current clutch gave you some good service depending on how much mileage you got from it.

May I sugest a excedy twin disc.

I have these problems even with a brand new clutch, I'm guessing clutch pedal adjustment is needed?

If you get an Exedy twin you MUST get the clutch stop from STM. It's less than $100 and it'll save you tons on labor. My exedy twin popped the TOB clips on the 2nd drag pass. Even if you don't drag race, you need that clutch stop.

My two cents.

Yea I drive an 03 and its got about 69k and some change so it lasted a while. Thnx for the number grim ill definitely give them a call. I was thinking of getting the exedy single disc organic because I wasnt really going overboard with the power and I read that its a good replacement for the stock clutch. Any thoughts?

Wow, Mines did kinda the same. Not quite. All mines did was it was slipping at every gear around 4,500. Whenever i punch it around 4,500 rpm the rpm will jump and sound like its in a island and it wouldnt go anywhere. But one day i found out my slave cyliinder was messed up.
