Car Wreck and Shooting

i don't see what's wrong with the OP posting this story. it's actually a good read, but a very sad story. I think the cops were totally wrong in this situation. since when does a car accident warrant death as a punishment? looking at the photos, there's no way in hell that guy would have gotten far in that car the way it was. the car was totally crippled and moving less than 10mph. that's idling speed for that car. i know because i own one. there was absolutly no reason to fire shots at the driver in that instance. they could have gotten into anyone of their vehicles and blocked the mitsubishi from moving any farther, or shot out the tires, or any other of 100,000 things that didn't involve killing the driver. especially considering the condition of the vehicle. there was plenty of time for them to come up with a calm, rational reaction to the driver starting the car and driving away. these cops were 100% wrong.
